
Sponsored by Bristol Core as part of their Poem Village grant to encourage more appreciation and enjoyment of poety, this free yoga class is gentle and accessible to all bodies. Restorative yoga is a style of yoga involving resting in gentle floor based postures for several minutes to allow the nervous system and the bodies tissues to soften and relax. It is a great way to decompress after the work week. For this class, taught by experienced yoga teacher and reiki practitioner Jen Peterson, she'll share a nature poem in each pose so you can receive the vibrations and meaning of the poem in a state of deeper consciousness.
Registration is limited to 8 people. Bring your own mats if possible, some will be available for use if you don't have one. All other props are provided.
