Sleep Well: Yoga to Waking Up Rested
This is an event series

"Sleep is the best meditation" - Dalai Lama

The long term affects of poor sleep are real and in our culture it is insidious. Not getting enough of the deep rest and replenishment that sleep offers exhausts our central nervous system and brain. When that happens it drains your mental abilities and puts your physical health at real risk. Science has linked poor slumber with a number of health problems, including:

  • weight gain,

  • a weakened immune system,

  • trouble thinking and concentrating,

  • high blood pressure, risk of diabetes,

  • low sex drive,

  • memory loss, and

  • poor balance.

Yoga is a great tool for balancing the nervous system and inviting our body and mind into a resting state so it can replenish itself.

This 4 class series will offer you knowledge and understanding about the importance of and functionality of sleep and practices to encouraging more ease in falling and staying asleep.

Registration is required and space is limited to 8 participants.
